"Driven by their determination and a lot of hard work, they eventually found great success — and each other. Tim and Faith have made a big difference in our city, not only with their music but also with their generous contributions to many important causes. They deserve to join the many other incredible artists on the Music City Walk of Fame, and I'm looking forward to their induction."

According to Rolling Stone, the pair who have been married since 1996, have collectively sold more than 80 million records and have won a combined 17 CMA awards.

McGraw and Hill will be taking up stars 73 and 74 and joining a list of country music legends including Dolly Parton, Ernest Tubb and more recent newcomers like Keith Urban and Miranda Lambert.
