Beyonce's 'Hold Up' gets about 2M views during its first day on YouTube

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Beyoncé's music video for "Hold Up" has gotten about 2 million views since it was posted on YouTube Sunday.

The track from the recording superstar's Lemonade, visual album was previously available for purchase via Tidal. It was released for free viewing on Beyoncé's 35th birthday.

The artist stormed the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony last week, giving an electrifying performance and winning a leading eight prizes, including one for Best Female Video prize for "Hold Up."
