Lil Wayne's cryptic tweets hint at his possible retirement

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Renowned rapper Lil Wayne's Saturday tweets sound as though he is retiring from performing.

"I AM NOW DEFENSELESS AND mentally DEFEATED & I leave gracefully and thankful I luh my fanz but I'm dun," reads his first post, which was followed by, "ain't lookin for sympathy, just serenity."

After fans voiced their concern for his well-being and career, the hip-hop star came back with, "I'm good y'all don't trip."

Lil Wayne was hospitalized several times in the past year after experiencing seizures. However, his social-media posts this weekend did not specifically refer to his health issues.
