NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Avril Lavigne got close to fellow singer Ryan Cabrera this week in New York. The 31-year-old star was spotted cozying up to the 34-year-old singer during a romantic dinner date Tuesday at STK Midtown in Manhattan.

TMZ reported Thursday that Lavigne and Cabrera were "cuddly" and were seen kissing in-between bites. The pair enjoyed foie gras and a filet while sipping on rosé.
"I see lots of people!" Cabrera told Page Six before clarifying, "Not in that way ... Nowadays I tend to keep all love life stuff just completely separate just because you know how it is. You try to keep it private as much as you can."
"While we appreciate the interest in Ryan's endeavors, at this time, we have no comment regarding TMZ's latest report about Ryan's personal life," his rep added.
Lavigne and Cabrera's outing comes nearly a year after Lavinge's split from Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, whom she married in 2013. She and Cabrera were previously linked in February.
"[They're] fully in a relationship," a source told Us Weekly magazine at the time. "[They're just not] ready to go public yet."
Lavigne last released the album Avril Lavigne in 2013. Cabrera, meanwhile, released the EP Wake Up Beautiful in 2015, and is presently on the My2K tour with 98 Degrees, Dream and O-Town.
