LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Kevin Hart has signed a record deal and has announced an upcoming album as his comedic rap alter-ego, Chocolate Droppa.

According to Billboard, Hart has signed with Motown Records and plans on releasing an album under the new deal this fall.

Motown confirmed the news on Twitter with the label posting a photo of Hart as the more in-your-face Chocolate Droppa looking tough outside the Capitol Records building, the parent company of Motown. "#Droppa," the caption reads.

Hart meanwhile shared on Instagram a video of himself rapping as Droppa in which he called out fellow artists Drake, Future, Jay Z and 2 Chainz. "Y'all thought that Droppa was playing," the comedian captioned the profanity-laden clip. "I'm BACK!!!! #Droppa #AlbumDroppingSoon."

Hart has unleashed Chocolate Droppa previously throughout his career during various radio appearances, meetings with rap artists and on Saturday Night Live.
