WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Aug. 10 (UPI) -- British pop-music icon Phil Collins is to perform at his first major event in six years at the opening night ceremonies for the 2016 U.S. Open.
The U.S. Tennis Association said Collins will sing on the evening of Aug. 29 in Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York. His performance will be televised live by ESPN2 in the United States and by other broadcasters around the world.
