"JC's 40th... And, if you don't know now you know..." Timberlake captioned a photo of the group on Instagram.

The "Suit & Tie" singer and his bandmates dusted off their vocals to serenade Chasez with "Happy Birthday," according to TMZ. Fatone was reportedly "hilarious" and "friendly" to paparazzi as he left the venue.

"Two minutes after seeing everybody you feel like no time has passed," Chasez told Ryan Seacrest after the awards show. "Essentially everybody has remained the same."

"We all see each other at different times, working on different things, but this is the first time that we had a rehearsal together in over 10 years," he added. "Everything is memory, muscle memory, and everything started to click."

'N Sync formed in 1995 and released three studio albums before splitting in 2002. Several members, including Chasez and Timberlake, have since pursued solo music or entertainment careers.
