Justin Bieber, Major Lazer release new single 'Cold Water'

LOS ANGELES, July 22 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber and Major Lazer have collaborated once again on a new single entitled "Cold Water."

The track, which also features MØ, is set to appear on Major Lazer's upcoming LP, Music Is the Weapon.

"I won't let go / I'll be your lifeline tonight," Bieber sings as part of the chorus."If you feel you're sinking / I will jump right over / Into cold, cold water for you."

The upbeat, Caribbean-themed song picks up right where Bieber's last collaboration with Major Lazer member Diplo left off in their 2015 summer hit, "Where Are U Now."

"It was spontaneous, no one thought it would work," Diplo explained to Rolling Stone about "Cold Water" before stating how he believes pop music on the radio is changing for the better.

"On the radio, we went through a bland period for a while, but now there is just some awesome music," he said.
