LOS ANGELES, May 10 (UPI) -- Meghan Trainor has taken down her latest music video for her single "Me Too" after she discovered edits made to make her waistline appear smaller.

"My waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night, I don't know why they didn't like my waist. But I didn't approve that video, and it went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed," she continued.

Speaking with USA Today, the pop star said she noticed the body alterations after fans began sending her screenshots from the the video. "I saw fans posting it and was like, 'Why are fans ruining my waist? Are you kidding?,'" she said. "Then I went to the video and was like, 'Oh my god.' I texted the editors like, 'I never asked you to touch my waist. I want my waist back.'"

Trainor has reportedly signed off on a new, un-edited version of "Me Too" that is expected to premiere on Vevo and Youtube within the week.
