Kesha takes part in recording session with producer Zedd

LOS ANGELES, April 27 (UPI) -- Kesha has revealed on social media that she is back in the studio recording music once again with new producing partner Zedd.

"It's a miracle when someone gives you a chance at finding your voice again with no reason other than that he is a [expletive] beautiful person with a heart of gold @zedd #truecolors," Kesha wrote on Instagram Tuesday of teaming up with Zedd alongside a black and white photo of herself singing into a microphone.

Zedd also posted a collection of un-captioned photos to Instagram documenting Kesha's return to recording music.

The singer had previously joined Zedd onstage during the first weekend of Coachella for a surprise performance of the electronic music producer's song "True Colors."

Zedd is known for producing tracks for Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.

Back in February, Zedd offered to work with Kesha on social media following her highly-publicized court battle with producer Dr. Luke. "Very very sorry to hear about the whole situation. I'll be happy to produce a song for you if you want my help," he tweeted at the time.

Since then, New York Supreme Court Justice Shirley Kornreich has thrown out a majority of Kesha's counterclaims against Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, in their ongoing lawsuit citing a failure to present facts proving Dr. Luke's alleged actions were discriminatory based on gender.

Kornreich originally denied Kesha's injunction against Dr. Luke keeping her contractually bound to the producer amid allegations that he sexually, physically and verbally abused her. Dr. Luke has denied any wrongdoing in the matter.
