Selena Gomez to bring DNCE on her 'Revival' tour

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez will team up with DNCE on her forthcoming Revival tour.

The 23-year-old singer and DNCE members Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle and JinJoo Lee announced as much on social media Tuesday.

DNCE surprised Gomez with the news in her Los Angeles apartment, as seen on Jonas' social media accounts. He and Gomez are both former Disney Channel stars who went on to pursue solo acting and singing careers.

Gomez released her second solo album, Revival, in October, and will kick off her accompanying tour May 6 in Las Vegas. She and DNCE will perform across the U.S. and Canada before bringing the venture to a close July 9 in Anaheim, Calif.

Joe Jonas and his brothers came to fame in the boy band Jonas Brothers and starred in Disney's Camp Rock movies with Demi Lovato. Jonas released a solo album, Fastlife, in 2011 before forming the pop-rock DNCE in 2015.

Gomez starred on Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place and has since appeared in the movies Spring Breakers and Rudderless. She will next appear in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and is also slated for The Fundamentals of Caring.
