LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Britney Spears released an unofficial video for "Breathe on Me" this week on Instagram.

The 34-year-old singer shared clips of herself dancing in lingerie to the song Tuesday, over 12 years after the track debuted without an official music video.

"Girls just wanna have fun. Never released a video for this song... so decided to do a little tease on Instagram instead... enjoy!" the star explained in the caption.

"Breathe on Me" appears on Spears' fourth studio album, In the Zone, which was released in 2003. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles "Me Against the Music" and "Toxic."

Spears last released Britney Jean in 2013 and kicked off her Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood the same year. The singer will perform at the venue through 2017 and met presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in Las Vegas last week.

"Being in Vegas for #PieceOfMe is amazing for so many reasons... Especially today... because I had the incredible opportunity to meet @HillaryClinton!" Spears wrote at the time. "Such an inspiration and beautiful voice for women around the world!!! This woman had an intense presence and I felt very honored to meet her!!!"
