LOS ANGELES, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- The Dixie Chicks announced North American dates for their MMXVI world tour Monday. Natalie Maines, Martie Erwin Maguire and Emily Erwin Robison revealed the news on social media, telling fans, "[There's] no telling what'll happen when the Dixie Chicks return to the U.S. for the #DCXMMXVI World Tour!"

The North American leg will kick off June 1, 2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and come to a close Oct. 10 in Los Angeles, Calif. The venture marks the group's first major North American tour since the Accidents & Accusations tour, which ran from July to December in 2006.
The Dixie Chicks have sold over 30 million records and won 13 Grammy awards, including five for their 2006 album, Taking the Long Way. The record is their latest studio release, and includes the singles "Not Ready to Make Nice" and "Everybody Knows."
