LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Those who pre-order Justin Bieber's upcoming album will also receive an added treat, a remix of Bieber's chart topper "What Do You Mean?" featuring Ariana Grande.
The pop-stars took to social media starting Wednesday to hint at the added bonus ahead of Friday's pre-order date for Purpose. Justin Bieber initiated an at-first vague Twitter conversation with his collaborator, asking Grande if an impending announcement was "OK" by her.
Grande, who is promoting an upcoming single titled "Focus," replied minutes later with a play on Bieber's song writing, "what do you mean?" On top of promoting the new Bieber duet, the 22-year-old "One Last Time" singer previewed the cover art for "Focus" the same day, debuting a bleach-blonde head of hair.
Bieber, having also recently gone blond, posted additional video messages to fans Friday announcing the pre-order event and added bonus. In one clip, the pop-star revealed a traditional preview of the album in the form of a track list will not be released. "Pre-order's out," he said, "which means you can usually see the track listing, but in this case you can't."
Bieber's Purpose makes its official debut Nov. 13.
