LOS ANGELES, Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Lana Del Rey takes aim in a surprising "High by the Beach" music video.

The video sees the 30-year-old singer face off with a paparazzi helicopter and brood over a tabloid report before blowing the chopper out of the sky. Del Rey keeps the gun in her guitar case, à la Antonio Banderas in Desperado.

"High by the Beach" will serve as the lead single on the singer's upcoming fourth studio album, Honeymoon. The song leaked online ahead of its Aug. 10 premiere days after Del Rey announced the track on Instagram.

The singer last released Ultraviolence in June 2014, and completed her accompanying Endless Summer tour in June. Honeymoon is scheduled to debut in September, and Del Rey will also appear on The Weeknd's forthcoming record, Beauty Behind the Madness.
