LOS ANGELES, June 22 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez released new song "Good for You" on Sunday.
The track is the lead single from the 22-year-old singer's forthcoming second solo album, and features rapper A$AP Rocky. Gomez teased the song by sharing the cover art Friday on Instagram.
The sexy track proved popular among fans and topped the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 on Monday. Friend and fellow pop star Taylor Swift praised the single last week, calling it her "favorite thing" Gomez has done.
Gomez formed pop rock band Selena Gomez & the Scene in 2008, and released three studio albums with the group. Her first solo record, Stars Dance, debuted in July 2013, and includes the singles "Come & Get It" and "Slow Down."
Gomez came to fame on Disney series Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place, and has returned her focus to acting in recent years. The singer is scheduled adaptations of the John Steinbeck novel In Dubious Battle and Michael Lewis book The Big Short.
