Britney Spears 'ok' after on-stage fall in Las Vegas

The singer has been in residence at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino since 2013.

LAS VEGAS, April 30 (UPI) -- Britney Spears is doing fine after an on-stage fall in concert Wednesday.

The 33-year-old singer was performing her 1999 hit "(You Drive Me) Crazy" when she twisted her ankle and dropped to the ground. Spears is currently in residence at the The AXIS in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

"Thank you for all of the sweet wishes! Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I'm ok!" the pop star tweeted in response to fan concern.

Spears kicked off her Piece of Me residency in 2013, and will remain through 2016. The singer last released Britney Jean, which debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and includes the singles "Work Bitch" and "Perfume."
