Rita Ora, Charli XCX 'nearly killed' while filming video for 'Doing It'

"It was this old truck," Charli XCX said if the vehicle she was driving during the incident. "It was a death-trap!"

LONDON, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Rita Ora and Charli XCX had a near death experience while shooting the video for their joint single "Doing It."

Charli XCX -- whore real name is Charlotte Aitchison -- opened up about the incident during an interview with British publication Metro, where she disclosed she almost "killed" herself and Ora "by crashing this Barbie truck into the middle of the desert."

"There were no air bags. It was this old truck," she continued, "It was a death-trap! But we made it out alive and the video is so great and is dropping this week."

Ora teased a still image from the upcoming clip on her Instagram account last week, but failed to mention the incident.

Talking about Ora's upcoming acting debut in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey, Charli said she was going to "kill it."

"On the set we had to do one bit of acting and I was freaking out, like, 'I don't know how to do this,' but every time [Ora] was killing it," she said. "She is great and I think she's going to be wonderful."
