Five people hurt as gunshots fired at Chris Brown concert

TMZ said several people were detained, but it is unclear if anyone was arrested.

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Five people were wounded when gunshots were fired in the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose early Sunday, but headliner Chris Brown escaped unscathed.

TMZ said several people were detained, however it is unclear if anyone was arrested.

The identities of the victims and the severity of their injuries were not reported.

Us Weekly said the 25-year-old R&B artist was singing his hit "Loyal" when he acknowledged from the stage some audience members were "gettin' hit over there" before the shots rang out.
