NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Mariah Carey sang a live rendition of her famous holiday anthem "All I Want For Christmas is You" at the Rockefeller Center's annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Wednesday night, but not everyone was a fan of her performance.

According to The Wrap the 44-year-old singer opted for doing a live rendition of the track instead of lip syncing to a pre-recorded segment, and even though she started out strong, her voice seemed to waver throughout the performance.

Neither the singer nor her team have yet to address the reaction to the performance.

Carey is currently in the midst of a divorce from television personality Nick Cannon. The actor has said he and the singer will be focusing on their 3-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe during this difficult time.
