Missy Elliot, Lil' Kim and Da Brat to perform together at Soul Train Awards

The trip will perform their 1996 platinum single, “Not Tonight," in addition to a rendition from Kool & the Gang's single "Ladies Night."

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Missy Elliot, Lil'l Kim and DaBrat will reunite during the Soul Train Awards in November and pay tribute to funk band Kool & the Gang, who will receive the Legend Award that night. Elliot, Lil' Kim and Da Brat are set to perform their 1996 platinum single, "Not Tonight," in addition to a rendition from Kool & the Gang's single "Ladies Night." Singer Joe will also join the tribute with a performance of his own.

Elliot has remained out of the spotlight since the release of her last album in 2005, but returned to the stage at the BET Awards in June where she performed alongside Pharrell Wiliiams. Earlier this month she performed at the launch of Alexander Wang's collection for H&M sporting a much thinner frame.

Other artists set to perform at this year's Soul Train Awards include Tamar Braxton, Bobby Brown, Tank and Sevyn Streeter as well as the previously announced singers Chris Brown, Ma$e, Aloe Blacc and Nico & Vinz. The ceremony will be taped on Nov. 7 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas and will air on BET Networks and CENTRIC on Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.
