BALTIMORE, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Singer Jordin Sparks and actor John Lithgow are scheduled to co-host a television special celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner.
The two-hour special, Star-Spangled Spectacular: Bicentennial of Our National Anthem, will air 8 p.m. ET on PBS as part of the network's Great Performances series.
Also featured will be Smokey Robinson, Kristin Chenoweth, Little Big Town, Denyce Graves-Montgomery, Pentatonix, cast members from Stomp, Melissa Etheridge, Kenny Rogers, Train and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
The concert will be filmed at Baltimore's Pier Six Pavilion, USA Today reported.
