NEW YORK, July 16 (UPI) -- Drake has agreed to pay Rappin' 4-Tay $100,000 for "borrowing" his lyrics.

4-Tay raised objections earlier this year when the 27-year-old star used his lyrics without permission. Drake recites lyrics from the rapper's hit "Playaz Club" during his cameo on the YG track "Who Do You Love."

TMZ reports 4-Tay never filed a lawsuit, but he did take offense at the lack of credit. The rapper's manager tells the website Drake's record label agreed to pay the sum in recompense for "borrowing" the lyrics. 4-Tay adds that he is no longer offended.

Drake announced his fourth studio album on Tuesday. The record is his followup to 2013's Nothing Was the Same, and will be titled Views from the 6. The rapper has not started to record the album in earnest due to a number of upcoming commitments. He hosts the ESPY awards Wednesday on ESPN, and embarks on a 31-city tour with Lil' Wayne on August 8.
