LOS ANGELES, July 2 (UPI) -- Rapper Lil Wayne doesn't seem to know quite when his next album, Tha Carter V, will be released, giving MTV three different dates.
In an interview with MTV on Tuesday, Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., was coy -- or perhaps a little confused -- about when the album is dropping.
"I'm so not good with that," he said, speaking of the date. "I think it drops either in September and then we have...ah I can't tell you the sneak thing. Anyway, yeah, I think it drops in September or August."
The rapper is set to go on tour with Drake in mid-August, though, so he hints the album may come out before then.
"It might drop before then, in July. [Or] August 25 or something like that?" he said.
Lil Wayne said that two months after Tha Carter V is released, he'll have a followup project titled Da Other Album.
"If Tha Carter was to drop in August, [Da Other Album] would be October," he said
