LONDON, June 12 (UPI) -- Rita Ora has broken her silence on her split from Calvin Harris.

The pair had been together since May 2013, and announced their breakup last week. Harris broke the news on Twitter and wrote, "To address speculation - myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."

Ora herself took to Twitter on Wednesday and opened up about her ex. She echoed Harris' sentiments in her tweet, and said, "I don't usually address speculation but I've had an incredible time w Calvin,& i will treasure the memories."

"I've moved on from this topic so i hope people will respect that and do the same," she added.

The 23-year-old singer will certainly stay busy with her upcoming second studio album. The record is expected to debut in September, and features production by Diplo and DJ Mustard and collaborations with Prince and Macklemore.
