Björk confirms her contribution to new Death Grips album

REYKJAVIK, Iceland, June 9 (UPI) -- Death Grips enlisted Björk's help on their new album, niggas on the moon.

The experimental hip-hop group released the surprise album Sunday evening on Facebook. The record is the first half of new, two-part LP the powers that b.

niggas on the moon features eight tracks, and Björk contributed to each song. The 48-year-old singer confirmed the collaboration Monday on her Facebook.

The second half of the record, jenny death, will be released later this year. Death Grips embark on a cross-country tour with Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden in July.
