Bruce Springsteen performs 'Tumbling Dice' live with The Rolling Stones

80,000 fans were treated to the surprise performance at Rock in Rio music festival.

LISBON, Portugal, May 30 (UPI) -- Bruce Springsteen took a break from vacation Thursday night in Lisbon.

The 64-year-old musician made an unexpected appearance at Rock in Rio to perform Tumbling Dice with The Rolling Stones. The rock group was headlining the festival, and the concert marked their second performance since L'Wren Scott's death.

Springsteen and wife Patti Scialfa were in Lisbon on vacation. He released his eighteenth studio album, High Hopes, in January.
