NEW YORK, April 29 (UPI) -- Ariana Grande has discussed new single "Problem" following its release on Sunday.

The 20-year-old singer recently spoke to Billboard, and described herself as a "workaholic" and "perfectionist" in the interview. Her debut album, Yours Truly, reached number one on the charts, and she hopes to duplicate her success with her second, currently untitled release.

"It was a very exciting thing for me to all of a sudden have this new mission," Grande says. "To make something as special as Yours Truly, and to put my time and effort into something new and something I want to make just as good, if not better."

"I never thought I'd be able to say this, but I love [the new album] five times as much as I love Yours Truly," she admits. "They're different, but I love this one so much more."

"Problem," the first single off of Grande's second album, was co-written by Max Martin and Savan Kotecha. The song highlights the singer's vocal abilities, and features a saxophone sample and an appearance by Iggy Azalea.

"'Problem' truly represents the feeling of being absolutely terrified to re-approach a relationship that's gone sour -- but you want to more than anything," Grande relates. "In the song it ends on a sappy, negative note, but in [real] life, we're hoping it's going to end on a positive one. I feel like it's all very honest and human."

Grande says fan anticipation for and positive response to "Problem" "warms [her] heart."

"I feel like all the hard work has paid off," she says of the support from her fans. "The reactions make me feel like I'm doing my job right."
