Beyoncé and Jay Z announce 'On the Run' tour

Rumors that Beyoncé and Jay Z were planning to tour together began earlier in April.

NEW YORK, April 28 (UPI) -- Beyoncé and Jay Z have officially announced their joint tour, "On the Run."

Beyoncé broke the news Monday on her website with a promotional photo for the tour. The picture features the singer and Jay Z in black ski masks as they embrace.

The husband and wife team will kick off "On the Run" July 15 in Atlanta, Ga., and end the tour August 5 in San Francisco, Calif. Members of the Beyoncé fan club will have exclusive pre-sale ticket access from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 29. General pre-sale will follow, and regular tickets go on sale May 2.
