Justin Bieber tweets 'All smiles' after hours-long detainment at LAX

"Life is good. Keep it positive always," Bieber says.

LOS ANGELES, April 25 (UPI) -- Justin Bieber has taken to Twitter to let fans know he is alright after his detainment at LAX Thursday.

The 20-year-old singer had been apprehended by customs officials upon his arrival in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon. Bieber spent several hours in custody and was reportedly searched and asked about his DUI case in Miami and other legal transgressions.

The star did not seem fazed by the incident, and posted a picture of himself captioned "All smiles" as he left the airport.

Bieber also posted that "Life is good. Keep it positive always," and instructed his fans, "Everybody spread the love and positivity."
