LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- A concertgoer is suing Sonny John Moore, the electronic musician known as Skrillex, for allegedly injuring her during a 2012 Los Angeles show.

Jennifer Fraissl alleges battery and negligence, and is seeking general, compensatory and exemplary damages and costs, the Courthouse News Service said Tuesday.

Fraissl said she suffered a stroke after Moore jumped from the stage at the Belasco Theater into the audience and crowd-surfed over fans, "negligently, recklessly and deliberately" striking her.

"Due to the overcrowded nature of the event, plaintiff could not reasonably avoid contact with Moore and at no point did plaintiff consent to the unwelcome contact," the lawsuit states.

Also named as defendants in the legal documents are the venue and event organizers, the Courthouse News Service said.
