ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Florida's SeaWorld Orlando says its planned concert series will go on this weekend with Alan Jackson and Kid Rock, despite the cancellations by nine performers.
The theme park confirmed to the New York Post Jackson will headline Saturday's show, while Rock will perform Sunday. However, SeaWorld hasn't announced the names of the other participating artists yet.
Trace Adkins, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Heart, 38 Special and Barenaked Ladies were among the musicians who dropped out of the event due to pressure from Change.org campaigns.
SeaWorld has been under fire for its handling of marine animals since the documentary "Blackfish" was released last year. The park has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
