Queen Latifah to sing 'America the Beautiful' at Super Bowl

NEW YORK, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Queen Latifah will sing "America the Beautiful" as part of Super Bowl XLVIII pregame festivities at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., the NFL said.

The performance will be televised live Sunday on FOX prior to the football game's kickoff.

More than 164 million viewers in the United States watched last year's Super Bowl, making it the most-watched television program in history, the NFL said.
