Madonna, Billie Joe Armstrong to perform at Grammys

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Madonna, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and Miranda Lambert are to perform at the 56th annual Grammy Awards show in Los Angeles, CBS announced.

The lineup for performers will also include former Beatles band-mates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, John Legend, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

LL Cool J is to return as host of the Sunday presentations at the Staples Center, and rapper and actor Juicy J., and actors Steve Coogan, Jeremy Renner and Julia Roberts are set to present awards.

The Grammys honor the previous year's best in recorded music.
