MIAMI, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Pop star Justin Bieber has been released from Florida's Miami-Dade County Jail after posting $2,500 bail, E! News reported.

Bieber, 19, was released Thursday hours after he was arrested for allegedly driving a rented Lamborghini under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, drag racing, resisting arrest without violence and driving without a valid license.

Police said the singer told officers he drank a beer, took anti-depressants and smoked marijuana before his arrest, the Miami Herald reported.

E! News said Bieber plans to leave Miami and return to his home base of Los Angeles soon.

"Everyone around him is urging him to seek help," one source told E!

"There is massive concern right now," a second insider said. "The concern is: 'We have to figure this out. We have to fix this and do whatever it takes.' They think the problem is the people he is hanging out with. He has some issues to work on."
