'Monster' tops the U.S. record chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Eminem's "The Monster" featuring Rihanna is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Hot 100 is Pitbull's "Timber" featuring Ke$ha, followed by OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" at No. 3, Lorde's "Royals" at No. 4 and Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at No. 6, Imagine Dragons' "Demons" at No. 7, A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera's "Say Something" at No. 8, Passenger's "Let Her Go" at No. 9 and Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan at No. 10.
