'Wrecking Ball' tops U.S. record chart

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is Eminem's "The Monster" featuring Rihanna, followed by Lorde's "Royals" at No. 3, Pitbull's "Timber" featuring Ke$ha at No. 4 and OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at No. 6, Imagine Dragons' "Demons" at No. 7, One Direction's "Story of My Life" at No. 8, Katy Perry's "Roar" at No. 9 and A Great Big World's "Say Something" featuring Christina Aguilera at No. 10.
