NEW YORK, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Actor Hunter Foster has joined the cast of the upcoming Broadway musical, "The Bridges of Madison County," producers announced Tuesday.

Foster's stage credits include "Hands on a Hardbody," "Million Dollar Quartet," "Urinetown" and "The Producers."

Based on the book by Robert James Waller and co-starring Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale, "The Bridges of Madison County" is to begin preview performances Jan. 17 at the Gerald B. Schoenfeld Theatre.

Opening night is set for Feb. 20.
