'Wrecking Ball' is Miley Cyrus' first No. 1 record

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- "Wrecking Ball" has become U.S. pop star Miley Cyrus' first No. 1 record, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is Katy Perry's "Roar," followed by Lorde's "Royals" at No. 3, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" featuring T.I. and Pharrell at No. 4 and Avicii's "Wake Me Up!" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are Jay Z's "Holy Grail" featuring Justin Timberlake at No. 6, Lady Gaga's "Applause" at No. 7, Eminem's "Berzerk" at No. 8, Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home" featuring Majid Jordan at No. 9, and Lana Del Rey & Cedric Gervais' "Summertime Sadness" at No. 10.
