Robin Thicke's son wants to be just like him

NEW YORK, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- U.S. singer Robin Thicke's 3-year-old son "sings and makes up his own songs" just like dad, Thicke's wife, actress Paula Patton said.

Patton told People magazine their son, Julian Fuego, is following in the singer's footsteps.

"He's an extrovert and he wants to be just like Daddy," she said. "He sings and makes up his own songs. He's got a song called 'Pop Song.' It's all choruses. He certainly got the gift from Daddy."

Meanwhile, Patton said while it's a little uncomfortable, she doesn't feel threatened when Thicke appears in music videos, like the one for hit "Blurred Lines," which features topless models.

"It's part of the job and part of the deal," she said. "We both know this is what we've been working so hard for and for these moments. Of course, it's a little bit uncomfortable. It's somebody who you love and you have to share them in that moment, but we understand it's not real. We love each other and have complete trust."

Patton said Thicke was not at all uncomfortable watching her steamy sex scene with Denzel Washington in their new movie, "2 Guns," People reported Friday.

"He wasn't covering his eyes, and he was like, 'I want to see everything!'" she said. "He's very supportive, and I'm the same way with him. We've been together since high school, and we know each other's dreams."
