Harry Styles buys penthouse apartment in Paris

PARIS, Aug. 2 (UPI) -- One Direction singer Harry Styles has bought a penthouse apartment in Paris, Britain's The Daily Star reported.

"Harry absolutely loves Paris as it's so romantic and old world," an insider told the tabloid about the British boy band member.

"He loves the art, music and culture of the city. It perfectly matches his personality and style," the source added. "He thinks his new bolthole in Paris will be an ideal place for him and his family to spend time on holiday or for work commitments."

The property in the city's 16th arrondissement boasts a view of the Seine River and features an old-fashioned lattice balcony, The Local.fr said.

The report did not say what Styles paid for his new retreat.
