Garth Brooks becomes first-time grandfather at 51

TULSA, Okla., July 27 (UPI) -- Country music star Garth Brooks is a first-time grandfather after his 19-year-old daughter, August Anna, gave birth to a daughter in Oklahoma, E! News said.

Baby Kailynn was born this week, but the entertainment news website didn't say exactly when.

The child is the first for August Anna and her boyfriend, Chance Michael Russell.

August Anna is Garth's daughter with his ex-wife Sandy. The singer is 51.
