Avril Lavigne wore black gown for wedding

LOS ANGELES, July 3 (UPI) -- Canadian pop star Avril Lavigne wore a strapless black Monique Lhullier gown when she married rocker Chad Kroeger in France, UsMagazine.com reported Wednesday.

The couple exchanged vows Monday at the Chateau La Napoule in Mandelieu.

UsMagazine.com said Lavigne wore a bejeweled flower headpiece in her long blond hair, while Kroeger wore a black tuxedo over a black shirt and vest.
