David Lynch directs Nine Inch Nails' music video

NEW YORK, June 28 (UPI) -- Hollywood filmmaker David Lynch's video for the new Nine Inch Nails song, "Came Back Haunted," premiered Friday on VEVO.com.

Lynch previously worked with NIN front man Trent Reznor on the soundtrack for Lynch's 1997 film "Lost Highway."

"Came Back Haunted" is the lead single from the band's new full-length album, "Hesitation Marks," which Columbia Records will release Sept. 3.

"Nine Inch Nails: Tension 2013" -- a fall 2013 North American arena tour -- will kick off Sept. 28 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Lynch's films include "Blue Velvet" and "Wild at Heart."
