Lil Snupe's suspected shooter turns self in to police

WINNFIELD, La., June 26 (UPI) -- A 36-year-old suspect in the death of rapper Lil Snupe has turned himself into authorities, said Louisiana's Winnfield City Police Department.

Tony Holden was booked Tuesday without incident to Winnfield City Jail and formally charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, MTV News reported.

No bond has been set yet.

Holden is accused of fatally shooting the 18-year-old hip-hop artist born Addarren Ross twice in the torso during an altercation last week.

Snupe recently signed with Meek Mill's record label.
