Justin Bieber skips MuchMusic Video Awards

The fans at the MuchMusic Video Awards showed Justin Bieber their love Sunday, but he didn't show them the love back.

The Canadian awards show gave Ontario's favorite son the fan-voted FAVE Artist award, but the pop star wasn't on hand to accept the award himself.

Instead, his friend Cody Simpson presented the award and then accepted it on his behalf.

Beiber didn't say what kept him away from the show, but he did Tweet his thanks to fans for the award.
