LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- Stone Temple Pilots sued former frontman Scott Weiland for allegedly using the band's name to promote his solo career even though he was fired from the band.
Three original members of the band -- Robert DeLeo, Dean DeLeo and Eric Krez -- and new frontman, former Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington, filed the suit Friday, accusing Weiland of breach of contract, E! Online reported Saturday.
