'Modern Vampires of the City' tops U.S. album chart

LOS ANGELES, May 22 (UPI) -- Vampire Weekend's "Modern Vampires of the City" is No. 1 on the U.S. album chart, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart is George Strait's "Love Is Everything," followed by Demi Lovato's "Demi" at No. 3, the soundtrack to the film "The Great Gatsby" at No. 4 and Lady Antebellum's "Golden" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are the "Now 46" compilation CD at No. 6, Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" at No. 7, Michael Buble's "To Be Loved" at No. 8, Pistol Annies' "Annie Up" at No. 9 and Blake Shelton's "Based On a True Story" at No. 10.
