J. Lo was safe while police investigated report of shots fired

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 6 (UPI) -- Police say Jennifer Lopez was safe in her vehicle while they investigated a report of gunshots fired near the Florida park where she was taping a music video.

The Miami Herald said Lopez was collaborating with rapper Pitbull on the video for their song "Live It Up" in Fort Lauderdale Beach Park Sunday night at the time the alleged incident was called in.

Police responded to the report of shots fired near where the artists were working, but found no evidence of a shooting, the Herald said.
