ST. LOUIS, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A 2009 lawsuit filed in St. Louis, Mo., against rock 'n' roll icon Chuck Berry has been settled, the lawyers involved in the case said.

Berry was accused of failing to perform three scheduled concerts on his 2008 European tour and of neglecting to reimburse his booking agent, Cheyenne Productions S.A. of Nevada, for extra traveling expenses, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch said Monday.

Berry's lawyers argued the musician didn't perform the three shows because he wasn't paid for them.

The matter was resolved last weekend, just before the federal civil trial was to start Monday, the newspaper said.

The settlement amount and other terms were not discloses.
